Event Polices

1) This event is planned and operated by Christian homeschool parents that want to honor God and uphold a Christian worldview in all aspects of planning this event.  Please feel free to visit our church website if you would like to know more about our beliefs in regard to marriage and relationships. Beliefs + Values - Johnson Ferry Baptist Church

If you do not agree with anything in those sections, we strongly advise you to hold off on attending the dance.

2)There is a dress code for this event. This is a formal occasion held at a formal venue.

For Ladies: A formal dance is the perfect opportunity to wear a beautiful full-length gown. If you prefer a shorter option, please ensure that dresses are no shorter than 5 inches above the knee. Avoid super high slits, overly revealing or see-through parts, and goth wear. Thin spaghetti straps, one-sided straps, and some strapless options are acceptable as long as the overall look remains formal and classy.

For Gentlemen: Formal attire is required. This includes nice dress pants and a buttoned dress shirt with a tie.  A full suit or tuxedo is highly preferred.

**Special Note ** Male guests are not allowed to wear dresses, skirts, or high heels, while female guests must refrain from wearing suits or pants.

Parents - Please ensure that your child's attire is modest and aligns with the dress code. If you disagree with any part of this policy, we recommend that you reconsider attending the dance.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Thank you!

3) ALL homeschoolers and their guests MUST have a paid ticket in their names in order to attend the event.

4) Doors to the ballroom will be locked until the start of the event at 7:00pm. Once they open, ONLY those registered and attending will be allowed through those doors. For the safety and security of our guests, parents and family members will kindly be asked to leave at that time.

8) There will be 8-10 chaperones stationed around the ballroom with added help and security provided by the venue.

10) We will have a professional photographer for 2-3hrs during the event. They will take portraits and candids throughout the night and will share them with a link and password sometime after the event.  We will also have a Photo Booth set up 7:00-10:00 pm for the kids to enjoy. We will email out a link and password to view those photos after the event
